DD beautiful work.
I have a soft spot for Minnie Mouse so I think the bow and t-shirt are wonderful.

Thanks everyone! You know I'm having fun!

AJ ~ Don't give me so much credit LOL! The blanket was a kit and the animals are printed on the fleece. All I had to do was sew the two pieces of fabric together. It could have been done no-sew, but I didn't like that look. I have two other kits to do if DD likes this one. If not, I will return the kits and go back to flannel.

Well it is just beautiful!!!! How cool that you can get a kit like that!!!

I was wondering as I tried to look closely at the picture - I was like "That is some really GOOD applique!" LOL

Where did you get your kits?

Here's one way to resize your pictures:

Go to Tinypic.com
Choose "Browse" and pick the picture you want
Choose "Upload Now"
Copy the IMG code and paste it here …
Mine turned out sideways. Not sure why.

Another way is to open your picture in Paint. Choose resize, and experiment to see what size will work. I made this one 25%. Save it (I would give it a different name ... I usually just add "-2"). Then when you select "Upload a File" it should work.

Morning all! I finished 99% of one felt watermelon slice last night - just need to stuff it and sew up last little bit of a seam! Between grocery shopping and a dozen other misc. tasks last night I was just happy to get that much done!

AJ ~ What a cute project! Yes, there's always something new, isn't there? I got the felt kits on sale at JoAnns. They have quite a variety.

DJ, thanks for the hints on the photos. I will try both of those ideas. I post photos using my ipad so I will play around.
Made DD a "strawberry hat" yesterday for a party that she is going to tonight. She will wear a red dress and the hat. Should look cute.
Want to start on some felt snowmen today. Have never really worked with felt so will see how successful I am.
