Good Morning Friends!

I did do a few patching items.

My closet in the sewing room is a mess!!! Fabric probably come up to my waist that is on the floor and then there are 2 shelves in there to hold some but people me included have been digging in there so...................

DD, love the scarf.

As usual been working in garden and trying to clean outside so nothing started.

My sister always has Thanksgiving and I have a potholder of an acorn and turkey I would like to do for them and a table runner with a turkey on it. Have been collecting fall print fabrics. Hope to do it this year.

There is a new pattern coming out (I thought I saw it advertised somewhere...but only the once so who knows) in July by Lori Holt of a quilt with the abs, numbers and some symbols that I thought would be cute to try for Teigan. Will be trying to watch for it.

Have to figure out my packaging for my CIJ ornaments too.

What are your plans for the week?

Greetings!

Thanks Lana!

I, too, am trying to get some yard work done. I’m making slow progress. I also resemble the remark about the stacking of fabric and other craft suplies. I tried to do some craftermath control yesterday, but just ended up with stacks. I need to do some serious sorting and purging before the end of July when family comes!

This week craftwise, I have a seminar I’m going to tomorrow. Other goals:

  • Finish BD card/wrap gift
  • Wrap and mail wedding gift/card
  • Make small quilt sandwiches for next week’s quilting class
  • Gather other supplies for quilting class
  • CCS motif for friend’s mother’s 90th BD
  • Felt kit Christmas stocking
  • Potholders for lake

Morning crafters! Let's see...I finished a felt Santa Bird ornament, turned out super cute, will post picture soon. I also finished 3 teacher gifts and a special tag that I put on one of the boxes of donuts I took in for the teaching staff this morning. It said "We "DONUT" know what we would have done without you! Thank you!"

I also finished the Altoin tin play set and made tags for some new pretty baskets I bought to replace the old plastic ones I use to keep meds up on the shelf in our bedroom closet. Glued those on last night.

I made the tags including the little "apples" made from buttons, paper and felt

This week I have the following lined up:

- Work on second felt Santa Bird ornament
- Wok on felt guitar ornament
- Decide what to work on next and make up craft kit(s) accordingly!!!

:)

Greetings!

AJ ~ Very nice. Love the little Altoid tin.

Kim ~ You must be BUSY!

I've got a good start on the quilt for DFriend's DMom. Also finished a "Susie Pouch" that finally turned out pretty cute after a rough beginning (mis-cutting directional fabric), middle (accidentally ironed over elastic ribbon that proceeded to melt), and end (had trouble sewing the final seams around the bag where it meets the zipper ... ripped it all out to do the zipper a different way). A learning experience!

I also finished up a couple of potholders and a CCS motif for a birthday card.

I was glad I got in some time for working on the lap quilt today. I have several rows sewn together. We'll be gone from early Sunday morning till Tuesday afternoon, so crafting will be limited.

Probably won't get back to the forum until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Have fun!
