Declutter your child's school papers

Once a month put your child's papers up on a wall. Stand your child next to it. Snap a photo. Now you not only have a record of all those papers but also a photo of your child at the time they created those papers. Now toss out those papers unless you frame one or two to hang on the wall.

Note: Flylady suggests mailing some of the child's work to grandparents and aunt/uncles.

I did this, and it works! :)
I did need to hide the 'tossing' from my youngest the pack rat.

Great ideas...I photograph my DS(5)'s artwork about once a month (some with him in the photo, some without). At the end of the year I pick my favorites and make photo books for the grandparents and godparents, and of course, one for us. They are always well received and my mom keeps hers out on the coffee table so that guests can take a peek.

Love the idea of making a grandparents book out of the artwork.

I like the idea of the photo with the child and the work. I would be lost without my scanner.
