Something I'm catching myself doing again is putting my needs at the bottom (literally) of the list to do. Subconsciously, I'm sending myself a signal that everyone/everything is more important all the time. I'm changing the framework of thinking and putting the personal goals at the top of the list. I'm curious if this will help change my mindset.

Personal

  • Keep up with drinking water.
  • Keep up with exercise 5 days.
  • Keep up with vitamins.
  • Spend time reading.
  • Keep up with writing.
Household

    • Wash windows and window sills in living room, dining room and front porch.Done
  • Work on Lesson Plan. Done
  • Organize bill area. Done
  • Write out Bills. Done
  • Check to see if vaccinations need to be updated.Done

Mary, we should always put ourselves first. How can we serve others if we have not looked after ourselves?
It is the same when we get paid, DH and I put money in our savings first and then pay the bills. Some weeks we are left with very little so are glad that we put cash into our savings first.
