Jody, something that I have been trying to do over the last few weeks is to touch things once. If I pickup the mail I open it and file it where it needs to go rather than picking it up, then putting it on the desk and then looking at it later. Or if I have finished with a plate, cup etc putting it straight in the dishwasher. Seems to be helping a little.

Slowly making my way through the list... Ground beef and chicken were on sale Monday. I had to cook some up yesterday and today. So while it wasn't on my list to do, it was something that had to get done.:)

Some times things arise that mean we have to reevaluate our lists. We are now in a place with our organisation that a small disruption should not bother us. I have been informed that the real estate agent is doing an inspection on our house next Wednesday. Because I am up to date with everything this is not a bother at all.

You are so right! I got a phone call on Tuesday from the heating company that they were coming to clean the heater on Wednesday morning. However, that was the first time that I heard about it. Fortunately, I was able to accommodate their arrival time. Then while the heater guy was here, I got a phone call that family was passing through the area and wanted to stop by for a visit in an hour. The old me would have been . The new me was :). The house was in general good order. I just had to clean up the kitchen mess from cooking all the meat and make up some iced tea. It is a good place to be.

That is exactly how I feel. The house is not always visitor perfect but if someone knocked on the door right now I would not be embarrassed to let them in.

Pretty good, just need to work on my school work this weekend! House stuff is going to have to wait. However, I don't really have anywhere that I can set up my camera to take my assessment so need to figure that out so I can get that out of the way.

Jess, you have had a big week with the move and all. I suppose it will take you a little while to get settled.

I thought I wrote a post here Yesterday but I don't see it. Yesterday I worked outside again. I scrubbed the overhead garage door to prepare it for painting and since DH and I were not doing well with our communications I ended up pulling weeds. He told me the night before that what the agenda was and then when I if I can prep for him he tells me I am too far ahead of him. I spent 2.5 hours pulling weeds in a new area so I could mulch around the bushes and cleaned up some other areas. I was good to be by myself for a while and just enjoy nature.

Today, I taped off garage, mulch and placed it. Not on the to do list but rain is coming next week and we are trying to get outside work done. A repair on the overhead garage door, painting the service door, and transplanting some day lilies. Will get gutter guards from DB when we go to MI the week of the 23rd.

I will post my do to list when we get back from MN.
