      • Trick or Treat!!!

      • Remember to give your pets a break when it comes to costumes - they often confuse and alarm them - consider putting the fur-babies to “bed” in a quiet part of the house while any frantic fun is going on!

      • If you’ve decided to, arrange for “The Great Pumpkin” to come in the night and leave a toy/book in exchange for the bulk of your children’s candy
    • Halloween Clearance Shopping

      • Halloween themed paper plates, cups, napkins, etc. are a great thing to buy for next year!

      • Making a dress up box as a Christmas gift? Discounted Halloween costumes and accessories can help fill it up!

      • Make note of newly purchased items so you don’t forget you have them next year!
    • Take Down Halloween Decor

    • The Fate of Costumes

      • Clean Halloween Costumes

      • Decide whether to add to dress up bucket, donate or save to sell online late next summer

        • If planning to sell, take pictures now (if costume covers the face, consider also including a pic of it being worn when selling it)

AJ I'd like to thank you for the 2017 Halloween threads - they were great!

Our Halloween party on Saturday was fun... there was no dancing but games. However we got there late (we had another supper party to stop by first). There was a cold lunch (before we were there).. saw pics.. hummmm... no wonder there wasn't any left when we got there... I always make more but the lunch was tight in my opinion. We got some cake and it was delicious! The theme was disco. DD also went out in a bar with the cookie monster outfit (on the pic she had taken off the blue wig... it was at the end of the evening and it's a bit hazy).

DS & his girlfriend brought 90 candy bags on Friday night to help out! wish they had told me ... I had bought more candy to make bags. So now we have a total of : 298 candy bags! we should have enough. our street is being closed and there will be animation in our streets so more children than usual. (usually around 120 to 140).

My costume for work is ready (robber - easy-peasy) and it'll be the one I use for tomorrow night to hand out candy.

Aunt Jamelle - Thanks for thinking Halloween through with your ideas. It has been quite helpful for me with things that, in prior years, I've forgotten until the last minute.

Lucie - Looks like a fun time was had!

You are so welcome, guys! Love the costume pics!

I did not end up wearing mine at the campground because it was so dang cold! I will try to find a good pic from when I wore it to the Halloween party the weekend before to share!

Picked up 6 classic Jack O'Lantern treat buckets at Walmart for a quarter each - will use to make the heads of the tomato cage ghosts next year! ;)
