Happy Rudolph Day everyone....I am planning to play Christmas music at work today. I have already completed one of my challenges...the list for the rest of the Rduolph Days this year. Next I will be working on the master gift list ideas.

Be sure and check out the Rudolph Day blogs today and tomorrow to read what everyone has been up to. Reading the blogs is a fun new item to put on your Rudolph Day list each month.

I have to run errands and grocery shop today so I am taking my Jewel Christmas cd to listen too, and today's main task will be to buy craft supplies for some simple felt ornaments, and buy 1 Christmas gift for someone on my list.

Last year I made these felt ornaments by cutting stars (used cooky cutter) from white felt. Using a blanket stitch I stitched the star to a square of tan felt and the trimmed it about 1/2 around the white, so it's a white and tan star. Using seed beads, I stitched them all over the the white felt star snd they look like candy sprinkles. After I made 2 of these stars, I again use the blanket stitch to sew them together and then before closing, I stuff with fiberfil. I close the hole, and add a piece of floss as a hanger. These ornaments make easy handwork projects to do while riding in the car. I store my seed beads for traveling in a pill box, or a contact lens holder.

I am sipping Cathymac's Christmas Chai and reading Sugar Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke. I'm only on Chapter 7. I'm already thinking of making the Cherry Bomb Cookies. It's so nice that the recipes are in the back of the book. Or maybe not since I'll want to make they all.

I'll have to try some of them using gluten free flour so they might not turn out as good a "normal".

How do you like these books? I've been thinking about reading them, but I find mixed reviews.

I'm going to take some Christmas CD's with me today. I was already listening to Christmas music on AOL yesterday, so I guess I"m in the mood. I'm also going shopping, so maybe I'll pick up a gift as well. Oh..and I'm for sure going to have some hot chocolate tonight..maybe w/ some irish creme syrup. Yummmm!!

Joanne Fluke's books are light and enjoyable reading. I think it depends on your mood if you enjoy them. And if you are not into food you might find that a little boring.

Happy Ruddy Day.... Wow, 10 min. of quiet time. Having a cup of coffee in my Christmas mug, listening to holiday music - Bing Crosby and wishing I had time to do a craft or organize my Christmas recipe but have to go to kids ball games. Keeping the Christmas spirit!

I had my first rudy day today.

I watched some Christmas movies and looked at Christmas magazines. I just had a relaxing day. No work!

I am going to make myself a cup of hot chocolate in a few minutes and watch the Shrek Christmas movie that was on TV this past Christmas.

I LOVED rudy day!!!

 I did manage a couple of Christmas things today while doing my grocery shopping and errands. YEAH! I put another $10 on a Walmart gift card towards Christmas and at the resale book store the Christmas books were on sale. I bought a book for my niece that has part of the story about a fire engine used to save Christmas, or at least that's what I think it was about when I browsed thru it. My bil is a fireman and every Christmas I try to get Sarah something with that theme.
I also received notice that on Zooba.com, I have a copy of "The 5 Love Languages" coming soon and that is going to my SIL.

Whoa, the day after Rudy Day and I woke up this saturday morning to snow on the ground. Not much but more than I'd like to see in the spring. It looks more like a Rudy Day!
