Moving into the heart of the household, it's Week Ten at the Holiday Grand Plan: Family Room Week!

The family room is the heart of the home, and never more so than during the holiday season. We'll clean and organize this central area of family life as we begin to think ahead to holiday visitors.

In holiday prep, we'll celebrate Halloween, then recycle autumn decorations to look forward to Thanksgiving. Keep working on those gifts!

So here is where I struggle on the HGP every year - getting back from camping trip - having skipped a week of HGP essentially - not being anywhere close to done with my Kitchen week tasks - just UGH!

I'll use this week as a catch-up week - and next week too since the garage is the domain of DH!

Catch Up List:

DS Bathroom

[ ] Clean out vanity drawers

Kitchen

[ ] Finish wiping down outside of all cupboards, appliances (including counter top appliances)
[ ] Clean inside of fridge
[ ] Clean back splash
[ ] Dust vent hood
[ ] Clean wall area near dog bowls
[ ] Organize/Dust cookbook cupboard

Closets

[ ] Finish working on Living Room closet
[ ] Be RUTHLESS with Spare Room closet - it's a dumping ground!
[ ] Straighten Master Bedroom closet - It's getting a little raggedy!

Holiday Tasks:

[/] Continue work on crafted gift projects
[ ] Begin Christmas Cards
[ ] Get kit together for Christmas class treats - SHOULD have all supplies
[ ] Buy items from Master Holiday Groc list
[ ] Buy at least 1 stocking stuffer

I sent out text invites to all for our Dec 1 Christmas Party!

I booked Dec 2 visit to Santa at the mall!

Can you see the light at the end of the tunnel? I am all out of whack. Doing the laundry today! Hoping that if I stick to the plan it will all be done by December 1st. Thanks AJ for keeping us on track....
