Household Checklist

• Declutter, clean and organize the living room. Done
• Dust woodwork in hallways. Done
• Wipe down door jambs in hallways. Done

Holiday Prep Checklist

• Buy stamps.
• Sign cards.
• Prepare to mail Christmas cards or letters.
• Make list of additional items for service people gifts.
• Buy gifts either this week or next week.

I’ve already deep cleaned my living room. I need to general house cleaning today and then tackle the kitchen and my main floor will be done. Cabinets and pantry just need tidied up a bit as a I did those a few weeks ago. I hope ( famous last words) it won’t take long and I can get it done today.
Wow! How did we get half way through the plan already? Time is flying by.

Living Room:

Well again timing seems to be working out. It's living room week and my husband finally got the blinds installed in the living room. We having had blind for almost 1 1/2 years. In the winter the sun is so low it just heats up our living room like no other and blinds us all day, so it's good timing. I also cleaned the carpet while the furniture was pulled out, so that's done. Here is the list of other things I want to get done:

House Prep

• Clean window seals
• Dust inside cabinets
• Dust everything as normal
• Clean TV
• Pull holiday magazines
• Get Christmas CD book pulled out
• Clean Microfiber couch (THIS IS #1 Priority)
• Vacuum under and behind couch

Holiday Prep:

• Order Stamps
• Call MIL with Thanksgiving menu items
• Finalize Gift List
• Order vinyl to finish t-shirt gifts
• Make Thanksgiving cards

With hosting a Halloween gathering, I didn't get to the card writing this week. I will add that to my list for next week.

I did get out to a really nice thrift store that had all of their donated Christmas items out. There were a few unopened boxes of Christmas card that I picked up.
