It's hard to believe that it's the end of July already. These last six weeks since school let out have flown by. We have four more weeks left before the high school starts back. I want to sit down with the family and see what they hoped to do this summer and what still needs to be done.

• Clean Bathrooms. Done.
• Vacuum/Sweep/Dust Mop/Dust 1st and 2nd floor.
• FlyLady: Living Room and Front Porch:
  • Dust Done.
  • Vacuum
  • Declutter Done.
  • Clean Windows Done.
  • Dust Blinds
  • Sweep front porch Done.
  • Clean front door Done.
  • Wipe down door jambs and walls. Done.
  • Clean chandelier Done.
• Pay bills. Done.
• Weed one flower bed.
• Shred Paper. Done.
• Digital Photo Decluttering - 15 mins. a day
• Work off of Holiday Spruce Up list: One item left to work on - Clean mold on rubber around garage doors. Done.With the help of dh, the gutters and siding are cleaned. The gutters use to have tons of black streaks on them and now they look almost new. We sprayed algae and mold remover (Spray and Forget brand) on the roof and siding. The rest of the siding got a good old cleaning.

I always remember the Summer holidays going past really quickly. I enjoyed my time off with the kids.
It's a good idea to ask the kids what they were hoping to do, sometimes kids don't tell us what they are thinking.

Wipe down the fronts of kitchen cabinets
Declutter the totes of picture frames I’m hoarding
Make one shadow box—either Thomas the train or trout fishing

Do Menus for the week

Jess, school start came around quickly.
Diedra, you hoard photo frames? I never seem to have the right size for what ever project I am doing.

Me neither so I run to Goodwill looking for frames. Pick up a few that are cute but never the right size so then I have to check out Amazon and Walmart. So the collection grows.

I was able to get the checkbook balanced and set up August budget.
I also printed off the missing pages for the Holiday Grand Plan notebook.

I am going to sit down today with my planner and look at the month of August. We have a few extra non-typical things going on this month like a surprise party, senior portraits, etc. I want to make a list of things needed for those events and add it to my August to do list. I did this in May when we had graduations and it really helped.
