Not sure if a week long what's cooking would work but thought I'd try it.

I'm thinking of ordering Chinese today. We need the fresh veggies and my refrig doesn't have much selection.

I've been using this site for my menu planning. I might not make what they have written but it gives me ideas. All of the recipes I have tried are very good. The Teriyaki Beef Noodle Bowl is wonderful. I've made it many times and so have the LCs. I print out the monthly menus. Then I print out any recipes I will be using plus I copy any recipe I might substitute from my own recipe box. From that I make my shopping list. I do move some of pockechanges recipes around. Sometimes I see three days of italian in a row (pizza, spaghetti, lasagna). Would not work for my family so I just move another recipe into it's place.

Monday: DH wants ham sandwiches & I'll have coquille st-jacques with some couscous
Tuesday : Ham & leek quiche
Wednesday: chicken vols aux vents
Thursday: grilled cheese & soup
Friday: spaghetti?

It's an easy cooking week, not much done in advance. Usually I try to have some casseroles for a few days.
