Monday-Baked Fish with Mushroom Cream Sauce, Fries and French Green Beans
    Tuesday-Easy Korean Ground Beef Bowl
Wednesday-Takeout-DD decided on Culver’s for Hamburgers and ice cream
    Thursday-Homemade Tamales
    Friday-Something Shrimpy
Saturday-Meatloaf stuffed with BabyBels with cauliflower

Saw the last two meal ideas on Facebook. Nothing like turning me loose in an unlimited cookbook. The internet is great but I need several more meal times a day.

Sunday - lunch was salmon pot pie (from the freezer) for me and ds, ddil had a submarine and dh had some pea soup. Supper we ordered pizza.
Monday - Made some chinese macaroni (I think you call it american stir-fry), with eggrolls and pineapple chicken that'll be our supper. Lunch was leftovers from the freezer.
Tuesday - probably a pork tenderloin (from the freezer) in the crockpot (if I don't forget to take it out)
Wednesday - might be beef bourguignon from the freezer or something else out of there
    Thursday - grilled cheese sandwiches
    Friday - ?
.... as you can see it's empty the freezer month ...

I've been making weekly menu plans since mid-November and wonder what took me so long.. It's really just DH and I, so it's pretty flexible.

    This week's plan:

    • Sunday ~ Pork roast
    • Monday ~ Moroccan lentil soup
    • Tuesday ~ Joe’s Special with turkey sausage* and hamburger
    • Wednesday ~ BBQ whole chicken
    • Thursday ~ leftovers (pork roast or Moroccan lentil soup
    • Friday ~ Smoked salmon chowder
    • Saturday ~ Chicken casserole in freezer
    *New recipe

I should do this! It’s the 2 of us and thankfully my husband is pretty easy going. I know I would make better use of my time and food. I’m often rushing around at the last minute trying to decide what’s for dinner. something for me to work on.
