Would be fun for a birthday or shower game too.

Indeed, this is a fun way to gather all the wrapping paper. I wouldn't mind doing this with the kids at home after opening the presents. I'll keep in mind doing this every Christmas season.

For those people like me who have disposed of the wrapping paper already we could use newspapers. It would signify out with the old news and in with the fun and exciting New Year and the wonderful things yet to come.

I'm not quite sure I understand the dice rolling part and who is rolling while another unwraps. In the video it seemed like more than one person was rolling the dice??? Can anyone explain this in easier terms?

Looking for a stopping point with the dice

    Everyone sits in a circle.
    - The youngest player gets the ball first.
    - The person to the left has the die.
    - That person starts rolling the die as the player with the ball starts to unwrap the ball.
    - As soon as a 6 is rolled (or any single number you choose) both the player with the ball and the player with the die pass to the person to their right.
    - What ever a person unwraps, they get to keep.
    - Keep going around in a circle until the entire ball has been unwrapped.

LC 3 does this with her family for Christmas.

The kids at home made this after gathering all our Christmas wrappers. They totally had fun while making the ball. Ours kind of looked similar to what has been shown in the blog.
