I'm feeling much better today. I go back on Monday afternoon for a follow up to make sure things are progressing as planned.

I found a new long term project to work on in addition to a short term project. The long term is organizing pictures and labeling them. My dd needs a baby picture and the album and box of that time is missing. In the process of looking for them, I found a whole bunch that need to be labeled. No one is going to know who these people are in 50 years if I don't.

The short term project is putting together a simple family tree for a second cousin that I will be meeting for the first time in two weeks. I've been helping her find her birth father's family.

  • Review calendar for upcoming week. Done
  • Plan Menu for next week. Done
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills.
  • HHP
  • Review CCP
  • Holiday Self-Care Plan (HSCP)
  • Reading plan
  • FlyLady: Master Bedroom Done
    • Dust.
    • Vacuum.
    • Clean Windows.
    • Declutter room
New this Week:
  • Return library books. Done
  • Wrap gifts. I bought more gifts. I won't be able to get to wrapping on the 25th so I will try to get to it this week.
  • Organize pictures:
    • Divide pictures into 5 groups.
    • Work on the first group this week.
    • Write names and dates on the back of pictures
  • Family Tree
    • Print off marriage license, baptismal record of grandparents and great grandparents. Done
    • Print off immigration records. Done
    • Make tree showing our direct lines

Still to Do:
  • Read next section of Austen book.

Mary, glad to hear that you are feeling better, that is good news.
One of the big projects here for next year will be organising the photos. I need to label them too a well as getting rid of duplicates and generally tidying up.

I had my follow up this afternoon. All is looking well. They were looking for blood clots that can sometimes form after this type of procedure. They couldn't find any. :D

My list this week may be a bit more ambitious than I thought. Food shopping, the doctor's visit and getting dinner that just needed to be heated up was all I could do. I was exhausted. I just keep telling myself, "Slow and steady."

I've revised my list that has things on there that seem less likely to take the energy from me:

  • Review calendar for upcoming week. Done
  • Plan Menu for next week. Done
  • Pay bills. Done
  • HHP
  • Review CCP Done
  • Holiday Self-Care Plan (HSCP) Done

New this Week:
  • Organize pictures:
    • Divide pictures into 5 groups.
    • Work on the first group this week.
    • Write names and dates on the back of pictures
  • Family Tree
    • Print off marriage license, baptismal record of grandparents and great grandparents. Done
    • Print off immigration records. Done
    • Make tree showing our direct lines. Done

Still to Do:
  • Read next section of Austen book.

Mary- Glad all checked out well and that you are recognizing your limits at this time and pairing down your list to something more easily managed.
