Last week, life happened. It was on of those weeks where things got done but not the stuff on the list. I never even touched the pictures. This coming week feels like I'm jamming Thanksgiving week with the first week in December preparation. I've been on restricted activity like lifting and exercise. That doesn't help with the feeling of being behind either. Things that I typically handle on my own, like buying cases of water, soda, a turkey, etc. need to wait to a family member is around so that they can do the heavy lifting. I keep saying "Slow and Steady." :)

  • Review calendar for upcoming week. Done
  • Plan Menu for next week
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills.
  • HHP
  • Review CCP
  • Holiday Self-Care Plan (HSCP)
  • Reading plan
  • FlyLady: Living Room, Entrance, Dining Room and Front Porch:
    • Dust. Done
    • Vacuum.
    • Declutter.
    • Clean Windows.
    • Dust Blinds.
    • Sweep front porch.
    • Clean front door.
    • Wipe down wall and door jambs.
    • Declutter Dining Room.
    • Dust/Polish Chandelier. Done
    • Wipe down dining room chairs.
New this Week:
  • Work off of Thanksgiving Prep Timeline.
  • Revamp Christmas Dinner Prep Timeline to Christmas Brunch Prep Timeline.
Still to Do:
  • Read next section of Austen book.
  • Order Tickets. Done
  • Organize pictures:
    • Divide pictures into 5 groups.
    • Work on the first group this week.
    • Write names and dates on the back of pictures

Mary, take it easy and ask for help. I am sure that your family are more than willing to help. Prioritise the most important stuff and the rest will fall into place.

It's Monday and I can tell this week will be different than it looked yesterday. :D Everyone will be all hands on deck Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

I have to go back to the vein specialist for another ultrasound for insurance purposes tomorrow morning. I have not been approved for the second procedure yet. That's in two weeks. So this second procedure may/may not happen.

Mary, I hope that they do not postpone the next procedure.

As a planner, this is driving me crazy especially at this time of the year. My dh was chuckling at how I am planning for things that really can't be planned like how I'm feeling after the procedure. I told dh that having a plan A and Plan B and if necessary a Plan C helps me when I feel out of my element. It also helps when I ask for help and I lower my expectations of myself. :D

Mary, I am a planner too. It helps me to keep calm if I can have an idea of what to expect. DH thinks I am strange and that I should just take things as they come. I am the girl that goes on holidays with the umbrella and the winter coat and the sunscreen just in case. I am rarely caught out lol
