Happy to see you back, Katrina! I hope you feel rejuvenated.

I wanted to share an observation about keeping up with these weekly lists. I've been doing HHP for a number of years after first using the Christmas Countdown plan. All of my work gets done during the week. Weekends are just too busy with the family. This time last year I was finishing up the fall sports running around and I still had some college visits to make right up to the weekend before Thanksgiving. I remember feeling a bit overwhelmed with life while trying to keep up with HHP.

This year, my fall has been very similiar to last fall. I still had the same sports schedule but had three less college visits scheduled. Because I have been keeping up with the house by using weekly lists, I'm spending way less time on the Household section of the HHP. I mean, considerably noticeable less time. It's crazy how quick I'm able to finish the Household section compared to last year. Last year, I had put on a long podcast or a movie for background noise while decluttering and cleaning. This year, I'm done before the podcast is over, usually within 30 minutes. I can't believe the difference. I am just more relaxed over all this fall.

Onto this weeks goals:

Mary, it is good to be back, thank you.
Just to follow on from what you were saying. I deep clean and declutter my home twice a year, once in Autumn and once in Spring. Since following this thread this year I too have found it much easier to complete these tasks. This week I will deep clean the study. Last year I was over whelmed by this task and it took me a good couple of days to get it done, this year I think I should get it all done in one day. To deep clean and organise a room in one day is a huge step forward for me and it is because of the small steps I have taken throughout this year. Feeling good.
