Haven't done this in awhile~

MHH Read in day, this Saturday August 9th.

Set aside some time, grab something delicious to read, a fabulous drink and settle in for some reading time!

Post your plans here, what you plan to read, what you're reading that day, how much time will you be reading, etc.

After a day in the yard and painting I will love to sit and read! Must make a trip to library this week - the book I am currently reading is to 'heavy' a read for a relaxing night :)

Thinking I will browse the paperback racks!

I love this idea! I just checked out The Night Circus from the library - so that should be a great chance to get started on it! :)

Peach Iced Tea

I have an iced tea maker, but you can just make it like regular tea.

4 Bags of regular tea
2 Bags of Lipton Island Mango & Peach tea
2 Quarts of water

I just set the machine to make the tea. Machine heats up 1 quart of water which steeps the tea, and adds it to the other quart of cold water. I don't let it steep too long. Let it cool a bit then I put it in the fridge, or pour over a glass of ice immediately.

The key ingredient here is the Lipton Island Mango & Peach white tea pyramid bags. I've tried other peach tea bags, but these are so flavorful and smell like a ripe peach.

I don't add any sugar to my tea but you could add some.

I join everybody….. in thinking that this is a great idea! We NEED to be reminded to give ourselves the healthy luxury…. of reading!

I started off the morning with a walk, an hour of gardening, and then going out to split a "breakfast platter" with dh. During the breakfast, I made the mistake of reading the newspaper…. which is NOT filled with "good news"!!!!

Now… I'll catch up with out MHH Family… and look forward to some NICE (non-news) reading!

I have a book about gardening in Louisiana that I plan to read on some. It's set up for what should be done each month, so I plan to focus on August and September. A different kind of read, but what I want to do!
