Hi,

I am hosting a family literacy night at school on Wednesday. I have only 10 guests registered at this time (who knows if more will show!) and need refreshment ideas. It must be store bought and it must be low fat. I was thinking a fruit punch to drink. I don't know what kind of snack to have.

Thanks in advance.

How much do you wish to spend?

One of those fruit or veggie trays from the grocery store is an easy idea. I know the store we shop at makes them in a small and larger size. Popcorn is another simple one.

I'm thinking you want something easy to eat that doesn't create much mess or require much more than a napkin (paper cup in the case of popcorn) to carry. You also want to be allergy-conscious, esp with common ones like peanuts.

The PTA has donated 20 dollars, but I'm willing to spend a bit more out of my pocket. I was thinking fruit tray or veggie tray, but that can get messy. Popcorn sounds good though. ;-)

Thanks!
