    Hello, everyone.

DH is up early to go back home, so I am too. I'll get dressed when I get through here and go feed the animals. The dogs have already been put outside. I can hear the turkeys already gobbling. I'm not sure what else I'll get into today before DGS's ballgame. Hopefully, just browsing the internet for some Cricut tutorials. DH just said he'd go feed the animals. Fine by me...may be a pajama day until getting ready for DGS's ballgame!

Katrina, I'm glad you had a productive day. Thursday night before leaving for and after coming home from DGS's ballgame was like that for me.

Hope you all get to do something you enjoy today!

    Aloha!

We had lots of wind last night and overnight. At some point during the night I heard the "ting" of something hitting a vehicle outside. I'm hoping it wasn't one of ours but we'll see in the daylight. I'm going to watch the camera footage and see if I can see anything. Sounded pretty close outside our bedroom window though. I need to check the front porch and see if my cushions are still there, forgot to remove them from the furniture. The bottom ones are strapped on, but there are two back ones that aren't. We are in for even stronger winds today with very high surf. A storm is coming.

Movie night was nice last night, although not sure I cared too much for the movie. We watched Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. I wouldn't choose to watch it again, but apparently it's a favorite of two of the ladies and my friend had never seen it. Hope it's a better movie next time, granted i'm invited back. I'm up early to get a practice test out of the way before the entire house wakes up. I need to get one done in each subject so I can see what I really need to focus on in my last days before the test.

Eli has Blue & Gold this evening. We'll have to leave early because of traffic. There will be loads of surf gawkers on the North Shore wanting to look at the waves.

    Hi Jane!

    Enjoy your day!

Hello all! Sunny now but clouding up later in the day. Maybe a shower. Around 80*

I've been scrapping all morning. Put together some of my December Daily, did Hanukkah and am now working on Christmas. After that will do the Israel album.

Made plans with some Canadian snowbirds for next week and plan to go back to the fair and see the pig races. No special plans for Valentine's day but I bought DH three packs of his favorite chocolates and a card.

Jess - Pride and Prejudice was the sort of "chick flick" I always saw with my friend Vicki - always makes me think of her
Jane - glad you will be heading home soon
Katrina - your cleaning is going well!
Diedra - glad LC1 is doing better

Today is National Pizza Day - that should make your dinner choice easy!

The wind has definitely picked up here and it has rained off and on a bit. I brought the flag in and my cushions. Blue & Gold was cancelled since the weather at the Camp where it was to be held is dangerous with the wind, it's up on a hill/mountain. DH was cleaning upstairs, so I emptied and reloaded the dishwasher and ran Alice. I applied for the Historian position in the Spouses' Club on next year's board, so we'll see what happens with that. I think i'm early enough that I should get it. Otherwise I just won't be on the board. I'm not settling for another position this time. I don't enjoy being the newsletter editor.

I took a practice reading test and got a 48/56, so pretty good! I think i'm going to focus my efforts elsewhere now. I will take a math practice test later and see how I do.

    Debbie- Enjoy the pig races!

Afternoon! Was very windy all through the night too, lots of places lost electricity.

I dusted kitchen, kitchenette and LR and vacummed them.
Then I decided to declutter the desk in the office and then my rolling craft drawers. Got 2 bags of scrapbooking items to give to dniece. Emptied dishwasher and washed my bed. Now I need to go remake it.

DH is gone to ds's to help remove snow from the roof. He has invited us for supper, so I will be joining them later.

Sis called last night, dad was working on his garage door and he got the spring in the eye. Luckily he had glasses or he would have lost his eye. Glasses are broken and dad couldn't see and had to have some stitches too. 1st doc at hospital thought his eye was lost but then specialist checked and added some drops and he is now seeing shadows. She thinks the blood will drain and he will be ok in awhile. he has a follow-up appointment this afternoon at 4:30. Sis will be going with him. He can't move his head all weekend and that for his is hard. He is always doing something. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Ok, need to go make my bed.

    Later

    Hi, all...

I'm back from the baseball game...lost both of them. DGS was pitching when I got there...top of the third. We were ahead 2-1. They pulled him 1 batter after I got there. The other team made four runs after that and won. He didn't pitch any in the next game. Played first and third. It wasn't as cold today as it was Thursday night, because the wind was calmer, but it rained on us for the next to last inning of the last game...not too hard...just enough to make its presence known.

I'm back at DD26's house. I'll be here until about 5:00 so I can put the animals back in the barn before I head to a banquet at our church tonight in honor of the women of the church. I wouldn't go since I'm grand-animal sitting for DD, but DH's in charge, and I don't want him to feel slighted by my not going. We'll have to come back over tonight to feed the inside animals, let the dogs out to potty tonight and tomorrow morning, and let the barn animals out in the morning. Oh, she also has baby chicks, too, to check on. What I really want is a nap. I'll get that between morning and night church tomorrow, hopefully.

DD21 is staring to look at master's programs. I'm not sure what she'll choose. She'd like to continue at the university where she graduated, but I'm not too sure what they offer that would be beneficial to the career she wants.

Jess, glad they canceled Eli's meeting. It will give you a little extra time.
Debbie, I think spring is going to come early in the South, but we had thunder last night. They say thunder in February means cold days in April, and Easter is very late this year.
Lucie, praying for your dad's eye. Enjoy the time at DS's tonight. Hope DDIL's decision doesn't affect their ability to make payments on it.
Faye, a lot of people are having that stuffy head here. I find that being one of the ailments that make you feel just bad enough to feel bad! It's as if you're barely not sick, but you're also sick enough to not feel quite up to par. It annoys me. Hope you feel better soon. Sleep and a good movie are just what you need!

I'm going to set an alarm and cat nap, I think. I have about an hour before I have to leave. Hope you all have a productive evening!

Lucie , sorry to hear about your dads eye. Hopefully it heals quickly and fully.

Sunday here and it is a lot cooler here today. Could almost put on a hoodie lol.
A few things on the list today, must get ready for the new week. Need to pop to the shops in a minute and get supplies for lunches for all of us, top up on fruit. I am trying to get DH to decide what he might want to cook for dinners this week so I can make sure that I have the ingredients for it. There is plenty in the freezers so don't think I need to purchase much.
Will need to vacuum and just do a quick tidy up.
I have some of the girls from my team coming over this afternoon for a pre Nationals meeting. The 4 of us are driving to Nationals and the rest of the team will fly in as they will have troubles getting off work. the 4 of us need to decide on costings etc.

Anyway better get moving, a lot to do and not much time.

    Hello, Everyone!

I have had a very non productive day! I did get dressed eventually, and gathered up some trash. How one person accumulates so much, I will never know! Holy crap!

Well, Miss Lindsay is causing all kinds of trouble for Steve and Melanie. Steve said she is a pathological liar. She really doesn't even know who is Brysen's real father. She wants to get Brysen away from them and take him to the rehab place. Like she is the world's perfect mother. Let me tell you something: she is not. Steve said she is an attention seeker. There were some other things that I am not at liberty to say right now, but none of it is pretty.

Someone upstairs is bouncing a ball and it is driving me CRAZY! I wish I knew which apartment it was coming from. At least it isn't from the Thundering Herd right above me.

Goodness me! It is almost 7 p.m. No wonder I am hungry! I have some leftover pork chops. I left them in the crockpot too long. Fell asleep in my chair and left them in the crockpot all night! I have never done that before. So, even tho they are tender, the mushroom soup got too crispy!

That is it for me. Prayers for all in need. Lucie, I especially will pray for your papa. It is cold here again today, and we can get more of the white crap tomorrow. I am beyond being thrilled. Can you tell?

    Stay safe and be blessed.

I have been missing you guys and trying to catch up on postings.

Debbie, I have wondered about your DIL from time to time. I am so sorry to hear this news. I will pray for peace for her and may God be with her husband and son and also the rest of the family. My heart goes out to them.

Lucie, glad your dad had glasses on. Yrs ago a fire thingy blew apart and hit my ex BILs safety glasses and he has no vision side to side in one eye.

COLD here and a chance for a mix tonight or tom. a.m.. They keep changing it.

Jaymees house is coming along. Some work on furance/A/C next week and the flooring the next week and should be move in time. Sad and happy for them. Like I said Radom is 4 miles away.

Going to shower now. Well, Teigan just got out of the other bath and Jaymee is going to take one now and Ryan just walked in and going to a chicken and beer dance and going to use my shower. So I will wait and be out of hot water--possibly.

Allen brought 2 lambs born this a.m. to the laundry room. Mom has no milk. Teigan is totally excited!!!!

    Lana, lambs, how cute.

Things are moving along here, have all the chores done, just need to wipe bathroom vanity and still have not been to the shops, that is next on the list.
Such a pretty day here, not hot at all, gorgeous almost spring like, such a relief after all the high temperatures that we have had.

Hope that you are all safe and ready to settle in for the night.

    Good Night all MHHers

LC22 kept me going all day. She was a bundle of energy. We cut and packaged two tenderloins, made Cheeseburger Soup and frozen some of it for lunches, made a sun dried tomato pesto which was excellent and cooked spare ribs for tomorrow in the Instant Pot. Oh, we made Girl Scout ThinMints only ours were gluten free and extra thick since we just dipped the whole Oreo cookie in the chocolate. Did both chocolate and white chocolate ones. Some how I did fit in some puzzling time in between her bursts of energy. Ended up doing two dishwasher loads plus some hand washing.

DD was in a mood today. Made LC22 wash her hair three times and then this evening she was feeling sorry for herself. DD was a little whiny. I really think she was tired but wouldn’t take a nap. She was off schedule while I was gone. I think it will help once she’s back on track.

    Sleep well.

Have had our team meeting and nutted out a few of the details.
DH made steak and veggies for dinner and I had gingerbread apple pie and ice cream for dessert.
Am just getting ready for the week ahead and will have a bath in a little while and read before dropping off to sleep.
    It was a perfect day.

    Night all
