Morning friends… hoping I'm the only one tired here this Morning… more hot flashes that kept me awake from 3 to almost 4:15.

Good day all. Lucie I can relate to being tired. The temps are back to colder here today with rain again for the weekend. Don't really have anything plan. We have leftover pizza from last night thankfully I don't have to think about what's for supper.

    Have a good day all..

Good morning! Dark and cold here and trying to snow.
I’m tired too with a head ache. Last night was the first time in almost a week slept in my bed. I’ve been on the couch so I could care for the boys. We lost our Myron last night. He was my buddy and I’m going to miss him. No more pets after our Sebastian is gone. With both of us in our 60’s I don’t want somebody to out live us and honestly I don’t want to be tied down. If I need a fur baby fix I’ll head up the road to the rescue farm.
We are going out later, will be nice to get out of the house for awhile. Will have left over Chinese for dinner. And no workout for me today either.
Lucie have you tried black cohosh and evening primrose supplements for your hot flashes? My doctor had suggested them to me because we didn’t want to do hormones because of my breast cancer risk. It took a about a month to kick in but it pretty much stoped my flashes and the horrible night sweats. I’m not sure of the dosage but I’m sure you can find it online and they are available almost anywhere.
Hope everyone has a good day. Prayers for all.

Amelia, I am so, so sorry to hear about Myron. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It hurts....plain and simple. ❤️❤️❤️

I have a counseling appointment this a.m. I need to get gas and groceries at Walmart. I dread going out in the cold. I really hate the cold. My arthritis flares up, and my bones hurt. Yuck.

Last night, John was off last night, so invited me over about 10:00. We were beginning to watch a movie. Never did finish it...mainly because he kept talking and talking. I was ready to go home to bed and he was wide awake. He works till 4 a.m., so it was early evening for him. He is such a nice friend. And he does nice things for people. He is a sweetheart. More people should be like him in this world.

I may be stopping for breakfast on my way to counseling. I am hungry and am not in the mood for eggs. I love eggs, really. But...ok let's face it. I'm lazy and do not want to cook. That is the bottom line.

Better get up and dressed for my appointment. You all be careful if you are out and about. Remember to stay safe and be blessed!

Today is our 16th wedding anniversary. I left a card on the seat of the truck last night for DH to see this morning and he probably won't even drive it today. I forgot that he goes in later on Thursdays and doesn't do PT. *sigh* We are going to Top of Waikiki tonight for dinner. I work this morning 8-12.

I emailed my host teacher and introduced myself and asked how she would like to discuss hours: in person, email, phone and she has responded telling me it didn't matter to her and to let her know what worked best for me. o_O So I need to decide and let her know I guess. I think I would prefer to meet in person, of course she isn't available to meet until after school but I also don't want to take her personal time. I think i'll suggest we meet at Starbucks nearby or ask if she would like me to come to the school one day. I'm off all next week so I could come after I drop Eli at home. I can't start my observations until February so there is plenty of time.

Lucie- Tired here as well. Didn't sleep well again.
Tricia- I love when we don't have to think about dinner. Enjoy your leftovers!
Amelia- I'm so sorry to hear about Myron.
Pam- Wow, that's late. haha I'm in bed long asleep by then.

    Enjoy your day!

    Good Morning!
I am getting ready to go see DD for a much needed hair cut. Have not had it cut since November. Luckily it is a style that grows out nicely. After we are home I need to study my Sunday School lesson I am teaching. It is on John the Baptist and tells how he lived on honey and locust so my plan is to let them taste honey and offer green beans (fresh) as locust. he he they are 4 and 5 years old and it will be fun to see them react....
Amelia, so sorry for your loss it hurts.
    Pam, take care of you
Jessica, congrats on passing test. Now the Praxis ?
    Tricia, enjoy your day
Lucie, Isn't it wonderful being a Grandma?

DH is waiting on me better get going.

    Hello there!

Didn't get a chance to stop by yesterday. Two-hour delay again in the morning and then I had two days of timekeeping to work on since I was off on Tuesday and then work was curtailed early to get everyone out and home before the roads got any worse. This morning, you can't even tell it snowed at my house as the rain and higher temperatures took care of it all. Areas north of us still have snow but all bases returned to normal operations.

I got hooked on Sanditon last night on PBS Passport and binged four episodes. Vic got the new slate of openings and emailed his detailer with his preferences - continental USA please so we'll see what he gets. It won't be Washington since there is nothing available. Fingers crossed he isn't volun-told to fill the Guam spot.

Put up a farewell on my blog last night and I'll be shutting it down in a few days. Breaks my heart but I have just been plagued with spammers and it makes me nervous about who is reading my content. The Internet can be a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Amelia, I'm so sorry to hear about Myron. Sending hugs to you.

Good morning. It looks nice outside, but I'm pretty sure that breeze is cold.

DH and I will be leaving the house if he ever gets showered and dressed. His new morning routine puts him at the computer scanning pictures, but we have places to go and things to do. I have a couple places to stop while we're out, things I didn't get done yesterday. Wal-Mart and the bookstore for sure. Some things I'll just have to order online, since neither Michael's nor Joann have the pompoms I want, and the library and bookstore don't have the author I want.

DH has a doctor appointment at the VA this afternoon. I'm going to discuss some hard subjects and get referrals for various specialists. He won't be very happy with me, but oh well.

I need to put together a birthday card before we leave...i can't believe dggd will be a year old next week. The card needs to go in today's mail.

    Have a great day!

Waiting while DH is getting haircut. I forgot to tell you we are going to a musical theater tonight to see Grease. It is for DS’s GF’s Birthday celebration. She likes so many things that I do yet can and is willing to do things with DS. They are so so good for each other.

Hello all! Warm and sunny again. Sigh!

Went to the RV show again and visited the places we had not been before and picked up some odds and /ends gadgets for our travels, along with free hats, mugs, koozies and pens:). The rest of the day will be peaceful. Answering some emails, knitting and scrapping. Indian type buttered chicken for dinner - yum.

Amelia - I am so sad about Myron. Nothing can compare to the loss of a beloved pet
Jody - have a fun time at Grease
Jess - Happy Anniversary to you and Chad! Have a wonderful celebration dinner.
Jody - beans are better than locusts:)
Lucie - tired from too much babysitting??;)
Pam - sounds like you've found a good friend
Pamela - I will miss reading your blog
Tricia - I would like it a little colder than the 80's in January
Deb - hope that DH will get his medical difficulties taken care of - men are often very resistent

    Amelia...so sorry about Myron.

The snow has begun here. It's cold, windy and generally winter is back. I didn't make it here yesterday...I brought home work Tuesday and Wednesday nights and once it was done, I was done. It's the end of the quarter, so everything is due at once. I'm so relieved that tomorrow is in-service. I have one meeting and then it's a work day. Hooray for me.

That's about it here....hope you all have a lovely night.
    peace and blessings~

    Good morning all,
up and dressed and to the Dr's. Blood work came back that I am Vitamin B12 deficient, and my blood sugar was a bit high. Possibly because of all the Christmas goodies. My blood pressure is good so he has taken me off the blood pressure meds. I got a Vitamin shot today and will need another one in a fortnight and then a fortnight from that. That should fix that. I did speak to him about losing weight and he has started me on a medication for that so I will see if with that and some careful eating that there is any change.
Paid for my drivers license while I was out and the new one should be here in the post in a few weeks so that is ticked off the to do list for another 5 years.
I am about to clean out the fridge and freezer and think of a meal plan for the next few days.

Pamela, I will miss your blog.

I think we are all tired!

Was colder here today. I wore long sleeves and a vest and didn't even get hot! I don't do long sleeves very often.

    Jess, Happy Anniversary!

Can't remember all else, sorry. Going to shower and then order Teigan some birthday stuff maybe.

Hello. I made it to the bookstore and bought the scripture study guide I was looking for. Lunch at Burger King, the music in the restaurant was delightful - big band era, obviously not geared for kids. I passed on Wal-Mart - I'll have to go tomorrow to pick up my meds. Doctor visit at the VA was...well...grrr. Old doc was transferred, new doc repeated questions over and over and did not listen, and dh wanted to talk...so slowly. I try, but I am not a patient person. DH did, however, get referrals to a bunch of specialists at my insistence. Road work outside the VA, and I swear we were queued for over half an hour to get out of the parking lot, around the corner, and onto the freeway. Note to self: do not schedule appointments to end at rush hour.

We made it home okay and feel like we accomplished a lot yesterday & today. I've earned some time with my novel. Have a wonderful night/day.

Deb, the road works sound horrible, I am glad that you have relaxed and read your book, so busy.
I have finished tidying the fridge and freezer and have pulled out salsa chicken for tonights dinner.
I still need to vacuum and mop and that will be all the work done for this week. I am trying to get all things done through the week so that the weekends can be more relaxed....that is the plan anyway.
