I'm surprised that I'm the first chat post of the day! It's a bit after 11 eastern time. The sun is peeking through the clouds today and it is 64* and very windy. I can hear it in the house.

I am currently doing my office hours. I got an email today from my principal saying that I needed to finish my differentiated supervision plan for the year. Well, the year kind of ended in March, so my data is incomplete. I don't have one of the main data points I was going to use. I submitted the plan with the data up until March 13th and that's really all I can do. I told her to let me know if it is not acceptable. Fortunately my students were done with phonics instruction and testing and about half of them had fluency scores so I had the scores for that to submit. I'm waiting for tech support to get back to me with a password reset. A mom claims she emailed them three times and hasn't heard back yet. I just emailed them, so we will see if I get a reset pw to send her. I also reached out to several other families, but they aren't responding either. Sigh.

J is working from home today. He is on the line with the cable company to get our price lowered. I forgot to pay the bill....it's online only...and just paid it now. SIGH. If I don't get a paper copy I forget to pay. I just added it to my calendar for the rest of the year so I don't forget again. M is finishing up her mandatory online classes this week. H is doing field work today. He is in his glory!

Jane...no word on H's status for the fall. He already has housing and signed a lease earlier this year. He says that he will just go live there and do online classes since he is paying for it anyway. He can also work at Field Operations then, too.

Not sure what today will bring except for vac'ing, cooking and cleaning.

I remembered to put the diffuser up in the bedroom last night and put in Breathe and Serenity so slept a little better and woke up not as clogged in my nose this morning. Still have a bit of a headache but not as bad. I unloaded the dishwasher and reloaded because I had to clean out the refrigerator for trash day and get the can to the curb. The dishwasher is running now. DH had to go in this morning, felt like it used to and was kind of nice. He has a PT assessment and then will stay for a while I think. I'm hoping my head will hold out to get some schoolwork done and a trip to the Commissary. Otherwise DH will have to go later.

It's very cloudy this morning, but not much rain in the forecast so who knows. This is the kids last week of "school". DD has her last math Webex today and then she'll really be done. She already has her promotion certificate. Eli's teacher told them yesterday that this is the last week of Webex. He was not feeling well last night, upset stomach and looked really pale and was a bit warm. I put him to bed with the trash can. Then he came in and said he was really hot, so I told him to take his shirt and socks off and just put the sheet over him. He did that and came back in and said he was still really hot. Not much else I could do for him, he already had both of his fans on so I told him to take the sheet off of him. We'll see how he feels this morning, but i'll be keeping an eye on him. DH started coughing yesterday. We all have allergies of some sort. I do track our movements outside of the house in my pandemic journal, just in case we were to get sick with symptoms of the virus. Eli hasn't been anywhere at all lately.

Lisa- It's just after 6 a.m. here as i'm posting. I hope you hear back from both the tech support and the other families.

    Enjoy your day!

Jessica...hope your headache eases up soon. Poor Eli! Allergies are bad here right now due to high pollen counts. Still not response from tech support or any other families. o_O Go figure.

    Good afternoon!

It is very windy here this p.m. There is one tree that is waving its branches really hard. It is such a gorgeous tree spring, summer and fall. But I am concerned with how much it is fluctuating.

I have a headache hangover, as I call it. Stupid weather. It may not be proper to try to fool Mother Nature, but it is not nice to mess with real people either. I am stuffy, too. One of the joys of living in Indiana. So tired or rain. I want to wash my patio doors, but why bother when it rains every day!

I am still sleepy. John texted and invited me for coffee this a.m. Then I came home and ate breakfast. My last jelly donut, and was it ever yummy! I enjoyed every last bite!

One of the squirrels just came up on my patio looking for food. Too bad, Squirrely, no food for you at the moment. Please come back when we are opened at full capacity.

On that happy note, I bid you a very good afternoon. Stay safe and be blessed!

Good morning. Today is to be a cool day - 71* - and then to warm back up to the high 90s. I wonder what's up with that. Dd's family is going to take advantage of the cool day and work in the backyard, after the kids are finished with school and exercise.

I'm waiting for dh to get ready, and then I'm taking him grocery shopping. He has been out only for medical appointments. He needs to get away from that television for a while. I have a huge list and he can fill the basket on the electric cart with water and canned drinks while I find everything else.

I tried to order some clothes last night, but the internet (or wifi) is so slow I couldn't get it done. I'll try again today, on the computer. Dh desperately needs clothes, and I can only his online since he's a bit large & tall.

Our library now has drive-up curbside service. We just need to order books on the website, set up a pickup time, and they will deliver to the car. I'll have to try it out.

    Have a nice day.

    Afternoon all MHHers

I'm outside (or I was) planting some leftover plants. I did pot up the Hosta I ordered. I do not have a place ready for it yet. It's small right now but will be about 4 feet high so I need a large area for it.

It's a little windy so I can't spray for weeds yet. I was hoping to have gotten that done this morning.

Off to eat lunch and then back outside.

Hello all! Windy here too, Pam and somewhere in the 60's Supposed to be cooler tomorrow.

Went to the PO to drop off a bunch of stuff. Discovered that Canada is not accepting mail.

Went to the PX and got a watch for DMIL's birthday and am now back at home. I got one of the big food containers I ordered and a book from Amazon as well as Blue Apron for dinner. Will go back to decluttering as cleaning lady is coming tomorrow. We will try and take Buffy to the dog park if it is open since day care isn't.

Jess - must be nice to have Chad out of the house for a bit
Shannon - where are you going? Lot's of campgrounds up here have not opened yet but some parks have
    Faye - good shopping!
Lucie - you will have to wait a while for the knitting needles. They are all packed and ready to go.
Pam - seeing a lot of John, huh:)
Deb - I need some new tops - must find something somewhere!

    Good morning,
Wednesday here, groceries for me. Hope to get in and out.
Will get home, unpack and see what is next on the list.
Work yesterday was good. Boss said that CW will not be back until June so I need to do the next 2 Thursdays. She asked that if she needed me to do extra in June would I, I said that it was not something I was thrilled about and would talk to her more next week. .I cannot understand why I need to be doing more hours into June especially with CW coming back.
With everything that is going on at the moment I would just like one thing to be normal
    Anyway enough whining.

Hope that you are all having a great day and that the weather is perfect where ever you are.

    Hello again!

Lucie - well, I guess being a New Yorker makes my mail a pariah! Oh well, it' a common thing and this two shall pass. And I will be packed and ready!

Very successful decluttering today. Filled three boxes with stuff and a decent sized garbage bag with garbage. Also cleaned out the under sink cabinet in the downstairs bathroom. Not sure if I will do more today or call it quits and relax for the rest of the night.

Katrina - hope the work situations works out.

My throat has been hurting again today :( hoping itll get better tomorrow, the predisone pills are less every week so it might be that. Might have to call the doctor to see, hoping I won't have too as it's the specialist and not my doctor.

Working on a crochet shawl... and yep ran out of wool, grrrr....

DH did groceries on the way back from work today... he requested sheppard's pie for supper tomorrow, so I know what we'll be having

I swear each week at work they add a new project in addition to out daily tasks. It can't keep up with half of it. Even the long timers are asking how much more.
Debbi-DH joined a place called thousand trails that gives us access to a bunch of their camp grounds and there are 2 near us. One near Colonial Williamsburg the other on some water both about the same distance for us. Most of the campgrounds are open here, not sure about state parks.
Lucie- sorry you are still feeling bad.

Katrina- I would be annoyed at having to do more also

    Sleep well all

Steady teleworking day. The siding guy came by to drop off the windows - yay, work starts tomorrow. The second heating company is coming also to give me a price. I got the price from the first company and it's lower than it was last year. Perhaps it's the time of year, more people planning to buy air conditioners than heaters perhaps? It's also an offer through Costco with added perks so the second company is going to have to give me a really good price to top that. Really needed something sweet and just didn't feel like going to the store so I made the pumpkin chocolate chip nut bread I've been planning for the last three weeks. I had all the ingredients and now the house smells divine.

Received the replacement two-tier serving tray I bought from Wayfair. This one was just as poorly packed as the first one and has almost as many chips in the paint. There is a difference between distressed and chipped. Ugh, I'll take the best pieces from the two because I just can't find a piece like this anywhere else. Just waiting for the rest of the July 4th decor and I'll show you a picture. Also got my decorative mason-type jars, both with chips! Ugh, something is out of whack in my online ordering universe, I have had the worst luck lately. Complained and they said they would issue a refund. I don't want a refund, I want replacements. Another item I couldn't find anywhere else.

Time for dinner and a few episodes of Hart of Dixie. Have a good evening, everyone!

Back from doing the groceries, took an hour. Things are looking pretty good. TP is there and quite a bit of it, not as much as usual. Sugar seems fine but no store brand just the more expensive name brand. Not a lot of variety with flour, plain or self raising but better than it has been in the past few weeks. Pasta, rice and meat seems OK, still limits on cleaning products. There is hand sanitiser everywhere you look so no problem with that.
I got very near to my budget, most things have gone up subtlety, cheese has gone up 20c, sugar 15c, all gone up a little but adds to the final bill.

Will pack it away now and have some lunch, my feet are freezing so might jump in an early bath and try and warm up.

    Hello, everyone.

I slept a little longer this morning, so I got a later start than I had planned, but DH helped me a lot today. We finished up several things. DS is coming tomorrow to help build the pantry. Yay!

    I'm tired tonight.

Lisa, I'm not so sure how succesful distance learning is going to be for students if that's what is chosen. Maybe parents feel like it doesn't count right now, so they're not encouraging involvement. I'm afraid there will more technology problems to deal which is going to add to teachers' stress.o_O Glad H is set up for a place to live. One less thing to have fo think about.
Pam, when you talk about jelly donuts, it makes me want one...raspberry, please.
Jess, I hope both you and Eli are feeling better.
Pamela, I'm with you on the online ordering. I've had several orders lately not work or be missing something. Do you ever order from Houzz? I've ordered from them some.
Shannon, I hate that things are being added to your workload.
GrammaDeb, how did the outing go today?
Lucie, are you still on antibiotics? Definitely go ahead and call to try and head off getting so sick again.
Debbie, in my book, cleaning under a sink always means I'm done for the day! It's one of my least favorite tasks.
Katrina, does boss think you like working the extra hours? It's hard to stand up against things at work sometimes....1. Scared they may fire you...2. Always feel obligated because we think it shows good work ethic...where do we draw the line?
Diedra, what Hosta gets 4 feet tall? I would love to see one that large! I love all the different varieties they come in.
    Faye, good finds at Kohl's.

I'm off to bed. Hoping everyone rests better tonight...self included.
