I finished Mr. Miracle was pretty good but I thought it ended kind of abruptly. Now i'm reading Act One, Wish One (As You Wish Series) by Mindy Klasky and Dead Bolt by Juliet Blackwell (Haunted Home Renovation Series) which I think I may have read before.

Lucie- The exorcist book sounds very interesting!

Finished the book about the Vatican Exorcist... strange reading... but I did learn exorcisme were not what I thought... mostly prayers, with sacred ointment and sacred water used. And it takes a long time to do an exorcism... can be done by phone too! takes years. And not even the church seems to believe in the devil....
I'm glad I read it, but I must say it is strange.

Now starting a book by Mattieu Ricard, The art of Happiness... he's a bouddist priest... looks promising.

I started The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.

It's already peaked my interest.

I put a hold on Girl on the Train. Out of 258 books there are none available now with almost that many people who have holds on it. Might be a bit before I get to read it.

I finished Debbie Macomber's "Last One Home" the other day. It was a great read - I loved the main character.

I picked up another Minister Wife Mystery from the church library.

They are a quick, easy read.

It's called: A Solid Foundation.

Really enjoyed The Girl on the Train.

Right now i'm reading Not the Killing Type by Lorna Barrett. It's in her bookseller series, pretty good books. Since the last time I posted I've read A Vision in Velvet, Dial Om for Murder, Undead and Unwed, One Potion in the Grave, A Potion to Die For and Some Like It Witchy.

Reading The Great Santini by Pat Conroy. I remember seeing the movie a long time ago but never read the book.

A lot of the weird military "joking" that DH and his friends do/did is very similar to what is in there.

I finished my Minister Wife's Mystery book last night.

Those books are so sweet. Simple, easy reads.

I am staring a new book. It's a re-read I remember really enjoying. Now that I log in my books with a synopsis, I want to read this one again so I can make a detailed entry about it.

It is: The Shipping News by Annie Proulx.

"A marriage of inconvenience" by Debbie Macomber. I think that it is one of her older ones that has been reprinted.
I have some Pioneer Woman cookbooks on order at the library. How come I am just hearing about her now?
