I am reading Lakeshore Christmas by Susan Wiggs. Not bad so far, though it is taking me a little while to get into this as so many other things are happening. I am pretty sure that it will be a good read.

I finished Welcome to Harmony by Jody Thomas...a great book

I think I'll start The Hostage by Susan Wiggs next. It is part of the Chicago Fire Trilogy. Susan Wiggs is a very good author IMO

I'm going to start reading my Christmas Cookie Club Book as well. I've ready a few chapters, then it got crazy. So I'll be picking it up again tonight. I was really enjoying it so far.

I just started Mrs. Miracle by Debbie Macomber this afternoon. Haven't gotten too far yet. I started the Christmas Cookie Club the other day, but I wasn't liking it, so I've put that one aside for now.

Ahorsesoul - River God is a good read! I like that series alot!

I'm working on two books right now, "The Shadow Rising" by Robert Jordan which is part of a very looooooooonnng fantasy series I am re-reading and "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" by Stephanie Meyer...

In between reading in my two new Christmas books - that is! ;) Christmas with Southern Living 2009 and Gooseberry Patch Christmas #10.

Never got around to ordering either of these last year and was able to pick them up at a bargain price this year! Think I will keep doing that - ordering this years books the following summer!

I am itching to order the newest book out by Laurie King - in her series about Sherlock Holmes and Mary Russel - but I have so much reading ahead of me as it is!

Hmmmm...may have to ask for it for Christmas! I may be ready by then! lol

I just finished the Stieg Larsson trilogy - Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Girl Who Played With Fire and Girl Who Kicked a Hornet's nest...they were good, but I did not like the ending...too many loose ends. I read somewhere that the author actually planned 7 books in the series but died before he finished them.

Green Eggs and Ham Cookbook! Yep, I ordered it for a Christmas Gift. I may have to get another one. It's very good. Green ham and eggs are green not because of food coloring but cilantro and avocados. I am so going to try this. Anything this weird is probably very good.

I just finished a cute little book called The Christmas Dog by Melody Carlson. It is a sweet story that you could read in an afternoon. I really liked it.

She has also written The Christmas Bus. I picked this one up from the library this morning and am going to start it today.

Started and finished today The Christmas List by Richard Paul Evans. It was a good book and a very easy read. I started it this morning and have just been reading every chance I got today and already finished it.

Just picked up Danielle Steele's "Family ties". Have only read first two chapters but I'm sure that it will be like all her other books. Quite a good read.

I finished The Christmas Bus last night. Cute little story.

Did anyone read Christmas Jars when it came out? The author has written another one called Christmas Jars Reunion. I am only a few chapters in, but it is good so far.
