It's beautiful here so doing a macaroni salad and bbq chicken on the grill.
I did not make a menu out this week. You can really save a lot of time if you have a menu planned. At one time I started a calendar book with menu's in them. I need to hunt that up and starting keeping a record. Then I can just use it over and over again.
BBQ Chicken sounds good!
I will probably make Lemon Basil Chicken on the grill and have Creamy Italian Pasta Salad on the side, unless we decide to eat out for dinner. That's what is on the menu plan.
Tried a new recipe for no bean chili and added a grilled cheese to that for the family.
Marinated chicken chunks in DIY Italian dressing. Saved some dressing and brushed onto veggie filled skewers (mushrooms, zucchini, sweet onion)...did chicken on their own skewers, all on grill. Served sprinkled with Feta chunks...oh man was it good!!!!
Desert was one of the last jars of home canned cinnamon applesauce!
DH will be having chicken burgers and I'll eat leftovers
Made Oven Chicken Fajitas last night - yum!
Tonight I am steaming broccoli and making a Cheddar sauce...probably just have sandwiches or baked potatoes with that...
LC22 said she might stop by after work (a 2 1/2 hour round trip for her) so I need to have something for dinner that will cover if she wants to eat also. Mind is blank. lol
