I am so excited to say I have put some pennies away.
I have bought £30 gift voucher for Amazon (it has 1year shelf life) and put £10 on our christmas Tesco (British supermarket) card. I feel more prepared than ever financially, so I hope that I have started as I mean to go on, making Christmas even more enjoyable
I've been continuing to put money on our supermarket saver card, nearly everytime we are in we put anything from £1 to £3 on it and when I get paid on Thursday, I'll add £20 to it and buy £30 of Amazon gift vouchers. Thanks again for the reminder
It's my pay day tomorrow so I will put money on our supermarket card and I will get this month's amazon vouchers. I may not have a job this Christmas so this saving will make ALL the difference.
If you have been meaning to set up your Christmas Savings Account at your Bank call or fill out the online application right now. Next month half the year will be in the past. Do it NOW.
Thanks Diedra. I now have savings at the supermarket (£70) and £80 in Amazon gift vouchers. Hope I can keep it up, at least until my last guaranteed wage in July. Thank you for the reminders, it is the first year I've been able to save and have you in part to thank.
Don't you think with half a year gone it's a time to start your savings for Christmas or to add to it? The time just flew past without us even noticing. Time will go fast now. Soon it will be Christmas Eve. Decide today to set something aside to reduce the anxiety of having debt for Christmas. You can do this. Any amount set aside adds up in half a year.
