Week 3 (January 16-22 review):
Exercise:
Weight: Up/Down/Maintain: -0.14 (BMI=23.8)
Mental/Emotional: What did you do for yourself this week? I had a good week, including lots of enjoyable personal time beginning with hosing friends for Kaffee und Kuchen (afternoon dessert ... chocolate molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce) and coffee. When we do that, we usually forego dinner or just have a snack. An added benefit to having friends over is the incentive to spiff up the house. Wednesday, we took a ferry ride to meet friends for dinner, and had a great time with them. Thursday was my weekly play-date with Kathy and our Stitched Together meeting which was via Zoom this week. After the meeting we ate lunch and then went to a large local nursery and enjoyed their greenhouses full of wonderful foliage, blooming plants, and demonstration water features (including koi and turtle ponds). I bought a few new houseplants. Hope they survive! Friday, DH and I finally went skiing. The skiing wasn’t great, but it was sunny and so rejuvenating to be outside. I spent more time outside on Saturday doing some weeding. The sun never did reach the spot I was weeding in, but I still relished my time outdoors.
