I was one of the lucky winners of the jingle contest. I received a great gift card to Amazon. I wanted to share my purchases with you:
I bought the DVD TV show of the Donny & Marie Christmas special from 1978
CD of the Carpenter's Christmas Portrait
Golden Book - The Animals Merry Christmas.
All of these purchases reflect my childhood or late teenage years. The Golden Book was one that belonged to my brother, but I would sit and read it when I was about 10 years old in July. I think that is when it dawned on people that I am overly attached to Christmas.
I was a big Osmond fan and have seen the Osmond Brothers Christmas Show in Branson a few times. Donny Osmond posters lined my bedroom when I was a teen.
The Carpenter's Christmas Portrait is the first Christmas album I ever bought. Having it on CD will allow me to listen to it in my car as I drive.
