Christmas in July Day 14

I'm going to be out of town tomorrow,,,,so posting the 14th...early!


What is your favorite Christmas cookie...I know this one will be hard...hard to choose!

This one is tough... really a tough decision... I'm gonna go with iced cutout sugar cookies. They probably aren't my favorite taste-wise, but it's the tradition with the kids of cutting them out and decorating them all together that makes them so very special.

I love fudge, but that's not a cookie... I'd say thumbprint cookies

Wow, that is hard! But I think I will have to go with iced sugar cookies too.

My favorite is cutout sugar cookies. I like to use egg yolk paint to decorate them with before baking and sometimes colored sugar or red hots. Iced is okay too but I prefer the egg yolk paint and other stuff.

Believe it or not, we never make Christmas cookies, but make lots of candy. If I made them, though, I found a really good Gingerbread cookie on Martha Stewert several years ago that I would use. It called for pepper and it made them so good!

Mines would be sugar cookies and then peanut butter cookies. I wanted to bake some cookies yesterday but I don't have any vanilla extract. My sweet tooth was aching really bad yesterday for something sweet. LOL
