CIJ Book?

I checked out the book yesterday from the library. I've read the first 60 pages and so far very good. Count me in for a discussion or a chat!
I forgot to order mine so I just ordered it...and 6 other Christmas books. Goodness, Kim! I can't wait - should be in early next week. Then what Annie???
Mich elle - I just don't know how that happened! Darn Amazon for showing you what else is available! That just is no good for impulsive shoppers like me!!!! Can't wait to read them though!
How's the book coming along for everyone. I wanted to show everyone our adventure today with a recipe from the book. My daughter and I went through all the chapters to look at the recipes and she picked out the hamburger cookies. I'm going to go post them on my CIJ blog right now, so check them out. If you look and they are not there, give me a few minutes. There are alot of photos.
I have not got to that part of the book yet, Minnieco! I am trying to finish the book but it has been slow going for me. I'll stop by soon to look at your blog.
MinnieCo - your hamburger cookies look terrific! Sadly, I haven't been able to start the book yet - RL getting in the way...AGAIN! I hate it when that happens! 
I got the sound recording and the book from the library. The good thing about listening to the book was I was able to do it while I was getting things done around the house and then read at night when I had some time. The unfortunate thing was that the voice was very sad and although the book was a tearjerker the recording didn't(imho)reflect the uplifting side of the book.
Just got this book yesterday and am already halfway through. Just got to the chapter with Minnie's hamburger cookies! I'm enjoying it a lot, but it's very different from what I expected. Definitely not a light hearted read! But a page turner for sure.
Read another chapter this morning.
I'm loving getting up early and enjoying reading and sipping my coffee! Doesn't happen too often but when it does- it feels like a luxury!

Mich elle those cookies look really cute. Were they very time comsuming to do?
I read the book last month and enjoyed it. Wasn't a every one is happy book but I found my self wishing I had some close friends like her to do something special like that cookie party. They are blessed women despite/ b/c of their stuggles
