Lana ~ The machine I bought is a Pfaff Quilting Expressions 4.2. We are on a trip this weekend, so I just got it home and out of the box but haven't had a chance to sew with it. I found a good video tutorial that went through all the features, so I'm very anxious to get home and fiddle with it.

I’ve started knitting a prayer shawl with a Brioche stitch. It makes a wonderful pattern, but I needed to frog it because it would take more yarn for a shawl than what I have. Before frogging it, I experimented with a herringbone stitch in the round. I’m not sure how I like it so I may be doing more swatches to figure out what I want to do with the Seahawks yarn I bought.

I forgot to buy more yarn for the winter afghan yesterday while shopping, and I ran out of white yarn last night. That's my go-to project for watching television. I'll have to work on one of my other crochet projects until I can go shopping again.
