Crafters Challenge Jan.26th-Feb. 1st

Well, here we are ending the 1st month of 2014!

That means about 11 months left.

I know I will be crocheting on some scarves this week. Will see what else.

I have a nieces bday in Feb.. Will have to see what she wants. Sometimes they like me to make something.

What is your weekly plan?

All my felt holly is cut. 2 are finished completely. going faster than I thought. will make my 14 at night while watching tv.

Have to finish another card from card-making class and maybe start on some Halloween stuff. And I'm working on another charcoal drawing at work.

Finished my monster book of monsters! will try to post a pic on my blog tomorrow.
Made one card from card-making class.

This week I want to concentrate on the mending. I need those buttons on some of DS work shirts, and replace the hooks on some of my bras. They get caught in the washing machine and bend. Will start another rug at some stage. Need to pull my wool and find a nice combination of colours.
Hard to believe we are into the last week of January already.

I finally finished embroidering my name on my own new Christmas stocking and that is put away for next year!

I've made a start on a felt pirate map for DS's birthday. However, his birthday is only a week away so I'm guessing it won't be quite finished. Unless I hit it hard and keep it simple. I've got the land vs. water pieces cut out plus the backing.

Will add some little palm trees, a volcano image, and a path of course to the X that marks the spot! Hoping to get get a little black eye patch done too.

I've got a "pirate chest" I bought on clearance from Michaels a while ago with some other pirate themed doo-dads and I have a Imaginext pirate ship toy to go with it all. So I'm hoping I can pull it all together!

Plus classroom treats! I'm planning on printing out littler overalls and google eyes to tape onto individual packages of twinkies to make them look like little minions Figured those would work as take home treats for the class...now to get it DONE!

Yes. All the things sound darling! Scarves and Holly, Monsters and Rugs, ... and a Pirate Map! Cool.

I finished the Warm Up America blanket. Now to go drop off.

I have just been doing a dish cloth for fun and finish the ear muff thingy.

I want to pick one of my projects and ... start it! Which one, which one ... hard decision!

Pulled wool, doing a rug in bottle green, fawn and brown. I do more girly rugs, so it is nice to do a boy one for a change.

Katrina - what kind of wool do you use for rugs? is it thick? must be.

Got the burp cloths done and packaged. Found some forgotten scraps and am planning a mini quilt.

I have did another 3 scarfs while sitting at Jaymees on Wed. and Thurs..

I think I have 4 or 5 skeins left so will try to do them and move on.

Still have a couple burp rags to do with diapers yet too.
