Hello!

At the end of this week it will be 1 month until the big day!!!!!!!!!!

I have these items to do:

lotion

seasoning salt

ornaments--not sure which one yet

books to sew if I find them

What do you have to finish up?

Greetings!

I don't know if I'll be doing any more gift crafting or not. (Edited to add that I still need to finish a cuddle throw for Sonja for Christmas.) Sometimes I get brainstorms at the last minute! For this week, I kitted up a couple of CCS Christmas motifs to work on over the holiday weekend.

As soon as I finish my coffee I will sandwich my quilt. I’ll get set up to start quilting tomorrow.
I’ve been picking away at ornaments for CIJ during the evening.
Will stop at Michaels after the chiropractor this week to look for a few more picks for a centerpiece I want to make. Do I need another centerpiece? No, but it will be small enough to tuck anywhere.

That's what I need to think about whenever I consider new decor ... storage for it!

So true!

Probably will not craft much due to travels but plan on knitting/crocheting while I am traveling.

I always wanted a large nativity for outside but what do you do with that stuff the rest of the year?
Quilting is going well. My friend had suggested a snowflake pattern that I’ve used before. I’m glad I didn’t. With embroidery blocks I think it would have been too intense. Can’t wait to be finished with this quilt.

Rose, how did you do the was sachets?

I tried 2 ornaments today but would like the shiny mod podge not the matte. So will get that and put some glitter on them and then find some small greenery.

Quilt is finished! The fabric I wanted to use as a border just didn’t look the way I wanted so I used it as backing instead.

I've been crocheting instead of playing solitaire or some other game on my phone on my down time. Need to do that more. I've probably completed 10+ rows in the past 2 days. Am going to make that a priority this week, when I take a break from decorating the tree.

Amelia, that quilt is really cute! Is it a gift or for you? I like the backing for the border but that other fabric is adorable!

I am going to stop by HL later this a.m. and get hopefully rest of what I need for ornaments.

Myron's Mom ~ Great quilt! I love the swirley reindeer and your use of that design! The backing fabric is perfect.

Some of the hats have been dropped off and I will drop the rest of next week.
You have probably said, but where do you drop off hats to?

The ones dropped off when to my local community centre. They have a hat/mitten tree where anyone can come in and grab a hat or mittens or both if needed.
The rest will go under the Christmas giving tree at our church. Giving tree is where we can give clothes/food etc to be given to the food bank, shelters etc.
