My son will be home from PA the weekend before Christmas, and that Sunday will be my Family Dinner Day. I've decided to do breakfast, since my daughter works retail and is not allowed to request time off during this time of year.
This way, we'll celebrate some aspect of Christmas all together, since my middle son and his wife and kids stay home for their own Christmas celebration.
My menu isn't elaborate:
sausage gravy on biscuits
bacon
scrambled eggs
toast
pancakes or french toast with syrup
fresh fruit
coffee and juice
I figure they will also exchange their gifts for one another on that day.
We'll see how it goes.
