Great Birthday Tradition

When my DD had her first birthday, my friend gave me a hatbox that she had decoupaged birthday balloon fabric on, She bought fabric ribbon in the same colours and put a bow around the lid. She filled it with a cake decor book, candles, steamers, banners, everything you need for a party!

Now every year when we're getting ready for a birthday party, we pull out the "Birthday Box" and we keep a fresh stash of candles, balloons, streamers, banners etc all in one place. It's been a great tradition for my kids that I never would have thought of without that darling gift!

Great to give or make for someone else!

That would be cool for a "birth" day gift. It can include all the number candles to last throughout the years..don't forget two number ones for when they turn 11!!!

That is a neat idea. It would also be a cool place to store pics and momentos from all the parties.
