My Happy Place
My boss and his wife are having the staff (there are only two of us) and our families over for a Christmas get together.

I want to bring something, but have no idea what.

My first thought was a big platter of homemade goodies. They have a lot of people living in their house right now and I thought they would appreciate the extra treats. The wife just got back from a 3 week trip and said she hadn't done any baking yet.

Any thoughts??

I agree Mel, the best thing is the tray of homemade goodies. During the Christmas season if I am invited somewhere I usually bring some fudge and people are very happy to have homemade because fewer and fewer people do some baking. This year, if I am invited somewhere, I might bring a homemade Christmas ornament too.

Oh, Mel! You are such a wonderful thoughtful person! Homemade...you can't go wrong with that. Your hostess will be so grateful!

Mel, I think it is a great idea. It helps the hostess, and I think it is very thoughtful of you.
