My 11-year-old son is going to a birthday party this weekend for a friend. The boy likes to camp so we're going to make it a camping theme present. So far I have a book called Campout: The Ultimate Kids Guide, a flashlight, and a whistle. I'm sure I'll find more little stuff when I go to Walmart or Dicks in their camping department. I need some more ideas of things he can use when camping and also a cool way to present the gift. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What if you get a bandana, put all of the gear into it and tie it on the end of a stick?

How about in a backpack that he can use while hiking? or in a new (small) cooler?

You could wrap it in one of those foil space blankets.

Could you perhaps find a camo fleece blanket? Then tie it up like the bandana on a stick that Kim suggested. Or even some fleece camo fabric!
