how many elves?

hi,

how many elves do we all have???

i have 3 - bertie thatt has visited for the last 2yrs, merry who is an elf in training for the next 2yrs and jingle-jangle berties best friend who nips in. we also have a rudolph and a snowman and loads of "normal soft toys" that play.

my OH wont allow me to have anymore elves unless we have more kids as they have 1 elf each.

WE have 3 elves, one for each boy. Charles Garland Christmas (Charlie), Jingle Jangle Christmas (JJ) and Fle Christmas (Elf spelled backwards). Last year a snowman joined in and this year a reindeer will be joining also.


Wanted to say everytime I read your name I think of the Shopahollic books. I started listening to them on tape and in the baby one she talks about being a Yummy Mummy.

Amy -- did you do the elf page on the other forum with the list of all elves? Can we do that here?

I ended up with 12 elves. eBay and coworkers and gifts. I thought it wod be fun but that is alot of elves to plan with. Ours are: Hannah, Lexi, Abby, Lacey, Abigail, Piper, Noelle, Simon, Noah, Nicholas, Kimball, and Riley. Plus they have pets that they brought.

Officially we have four elves....Bernard, Jingle and Bell were out original trio...Bell and Jingle are brother and sister and Bernard is their cousin....and then we have Ben who is a larger elf for grandson Evan to play with and sleep with etc....

One year a fifth elf came to visit for a couple days....his name was Professor Sugar Plum and he hopped in because the other elves were snowed in and he wanted to bring the movie...(AKA....couldn't find the right box where the elves were stored..lol)

I actually have like three others that look like Professor Sugar Plum and then added three adorable elves last year but we didn't use them as Magic Elves just decorations....I just can't resist buying elves when I see them....and when I first started I found the first three at the flea market for a couple dollars and the professor sugar plum ones four for a dollar....so I had to have them....LOL

um yeah... I have an elf problem. I just keep buying them... I also buy reindeer at an alarming rate. I have 2 that are the ring leaders and then at least 10-15 more that randomly show up for elf training...

yes i set up the whole thread over there - list of elves and owners, list of activities etc as the old threads had names and activities throughout and evreyone was saying it was hard to find things.

only problem is i am only 1 apartf rom admin etc that can add to the posts i made, so everyone is having to PM with stuff to add.

I understand. That would be aggravating. I have an idea. I'll start it and we'll see how it works. Well it was your idea so I guess I should ask if you mind before I try something similar to what you did? Maybe a new thread where each poster can only write the number of elves and their names. Maybe the elves pets or reindeers too. Also they could specify which is a ring leader or which is on training or which is a baby elf that doesn't do mischief yet etc. But the thread cannot have ant other info. Ant other ideas??

I can see how this elf addiction can take hold lol! This is my first year with visiting elves. I planned to have 3 (one for each of my children) Holly Berry, Buddy Jingles and Buddy's sister Bell, but with Bell only visiting for a couple of days this year as my youngest is a bit young. But I now have 5! I found a bargain aurora doll (like my other elves) so she is now Gingerbread, who specialises in baking. Then I was given a Groovy Girls elf doll by a friend who I told about the elf tradition, she is now Bo Ribbons who specialises in gift wrapping! There is also Buddy's dog Snowy and Dipper Reindeer, but Dipper won't be staying this year only dropping the elves off.

If I see any other bargain elves anywhere or get given any, I can't say I'll be able to resist the temptation! Especially as I already have a whole list of characters/names that I use on my blog!

Amy has been great on the other thread, would be handy to see something similar here.

We have 3 elves: Jingle, Tinsel, and Bell.
Each elf comes with a reindeer, Peppermint puppy, (Webkinz Christmas puppy), Chipper, (he's a Webkinz Chipmunk who sits in our tree), and 3 snowmen. This year Minty Moose, (Webkinz Christmas moose), will be arriving.
