@Lori K YUM ... "bacon and brie sandwiches"
@teachermomof2 YUM ... "Grilled Hawaiian Pork Chops"

Tonight, we are having a Cheese Broccoli soup from Aldi's. It comes in a package and you just add cups of water. I am tossing in ground turkey and Aldi's German Spaetzle noodles.

Tuesday - Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup
Wednesday - Salmon patties, rice/potatoes, veggies
Thursday - Spaghetti, naan, veggies

A recreation from one of my favorite vacation restaurants in the Fort Myers area. Add fig jam and a balsamic reduction, and maybe a little arugula or spring salad mix. They serve it on a baguette; I typically put it on a toasted crusty bread.
Sandwich is in the "Hand Held" box.

My mom made these all the time when I was a kid...not my favorite meal, but maybe now that I'm an adult I may like them more.
I sometimes add shredded cheddar cheese in the mix! I sometimes added some chopped pickled jalapenos. I sometimes add oatmeal instead of bread crumbs. I have sometimes not coated the outside because I'm lazy ... LOL ... but sometimes I might coat in cornmeal. I like to fry up in coconut oil and make the outside crisp.

I use the recipe as a base ... and then do my own thing. :) And I make tarter sauce!

I hope you find a new enjoyment of them!! :)
