Making Cinnamon Roll Rings

I've always wanted to try to make cinnamon rolls in a wreath or ring shape. How do you join the ends together so that they look pretty?
And, do you slice most of the way through the roll and twist the cut sides out?
Any help/tips would be appreciated. I think I'm going to play with this over the weekend.

I will have to ask the bakery manager how they do it. Because I see that they are selling what you are talking about.
