Made the best mac and cheese last night. Will add it to the regular menu rotation.

It was a full meal mac and cheese if that makes sense. It contained ham, spinach, peas, corn and carrot. The sauce had garlic, cheese and dijon mustard. All together a very nice combination. I will post recipe if you want it.
In Wisconsin this is almost what we call a hotdish if you tossed in some tomatoes.
March 24 - 31, 2024
Sunday: pork roast, sweet potato, coleslaw, baked apple
Monday: spaghetti and meatballs, garlic toast, salad
Tuesday: chicken breast, rice, vegetables, cranberry sauce
Wednesday: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad
Thursday: fish, oven roasted potatoes, coleslaw
Friday: cold plate / something light [Good Friday, a day of fasting, but require a little something, due to medical issues and meds]
Saturday: hot dogs on the grill, baked beans, coleslaw
Sunday: Easter brunch out with DD and DSIL

It was rainy bad on Friday, so I opted not to go to Aldi's. I try not to go on the busy weekends. We are eating out of the freezer/pantry. Nothing too exciting.

Update: Good flavor but it was like soup. I even used half the amount of cola. Very watery. Taste was ok but no sauce. We all decided I should make it on the stove top next time.
