Fantastic links! My son was just asking me about Mardi Gras (we saw decorations, etc. at the party store). Now I can give him the whole run-down! I think we might actually make a King Cake, too!

And I LOVE The idea of making floats out of shoeboxes...need to give that some thought.

Thanks Lucie! We're thinking of having a luncheon at work on Tuesday....someone asked me to make the king cake and I said I would if someone provided the baby for me to bake inside!
