My bathroom is pretty small but I would like to get some new towels and wash cloths I saw at wally world and a new bath set I saw, that matches my new shower curtain.
it will take me about 15 minutes to clean it real good.
I got a snowman bath set last year after Christmas.
Can't wait to put it out ;)

Holiday Prep

Make one batch of Holiday Goodies.
Make one extra meal for freezer again labeled HOLIDAY MEAL.
Buy two canned food items from menus (get 2 of each item, one to use and one to donate to food drive).
Buy 1/8th of TO BUY gifts. Save all receipts, note return policy before buying. Ask for gift boxes
Wrap and label packages. If needing to ship, get some shipping boxes now and store packages in them.
Work at least 1 hour a day on homemade gifts.
Take toys and books that are outgrown, clean them up and prepare them for donation to toy drives.
Make list of toys and books that children would enjoy and that would fit in their rooms and that would work with what they have. Keep it hand for telling family what they would like.
Inventory clothing and have another list of clothing items needed. Measure the children and put measurements on this list.

I found the perfect color bath linens for my master bath but they didn't have the matching face cloths. I'll go back and check again.

I did a major restocking last week which included toiletry items such as: shampoo
razor blades
moisturizer
foundation makeup
body wash
new heads for the electric toothbrushes (change them every Sept. & March), face cleanser
toothpaste
toilet paper
All bathrooms cleaners

Now that's done and I don't have to worry about it until March. LOL

Tomorrow I want to clean out the vanity & wall unit.

Good luck everyone. Keep up the great work.

Dont forget to get rid of old make up at this time as well. My small bath needs a good clean it that's about it. I got rid of nail polish and perfume at my last yard sale. My tiny linen closet won't take long either. Good still need to do more in master bed room.

Finally feel like I am back on track with HGP! Finished the bulk of last week's tasks and this week's room is an easier one for me. :) At some point I need to round back to the first 3 weeks and their tasks though!

Our front porch is still under construction. What with DH's upcoming surgeries, etc. we are going to be lucky to have it done by the holidays! Sheesh!

But for now, I will turn my attention to this week's tasks!

Master Bathroom:

[ ] Dust ceiling for cobwebs
[ ] Clean ceiling vent
[ ] Magic eraser ceiling/walls as needed
[ ] Dust top of cabinet, lights, etc.
[ ] Scrub out tub/tub walls/shelves/etc.
[ ] Shine all faucets
[ ] Empty/Clean/Reorg both cabinets
[ ] Wash baseboards and floor

Holiday Prep:

[ ] Continue work on/Try to finalize menus for all holiday gatherings/parties
[ ] Decide if having fall dinner part this year or not in light of DH's surgeries, etc.
[ ] Review budget
[ ] Make two freezer meals or meal components
[ ] Continue crafting Christmas gifts as well as homemade tags, bows, etc.

I didn't do too bad in the end this week - caught up on a good few things. But I am bad about getting the buying started this year. I just can't seem to find the time or energy to get moving on it.

Wow I missed a week!

I did finish the master bathroom - it is soon to be renovated so I mostly had to empty, clean, and make a list of needed items (we are removing an old bath and installing a new bathtub with shower doors and built-in side shelves to hold towels, plus repairing the poor plaster job from a previous renovation and I am really hoping to add a new storage mirror)
