Hmmm ... could swear I started this last week, but couldn't find it. So, let's get a new month of menu planning started.

May 6 - 12, 2024
Monday: Chicken & rice soup and tossed salad
Tuesday: spaghetti and meatballs, tossed salad, garlic bread
Wednesday: Italian sausage with peppers and onions, 4 bean salad or pasti salad dinner with chef-friend and his wife
Thursday: appetizers or something light (luncheon with widows group, so won't want a full meal)
Friday: pizza, tossed salad
Saturday: dinner out with family and friends
Sunday: (open; due to DSIL's injury, plans for Mother's Day have not been finalized)

Last few weeks of Autumn here and we are eating out of the freezers. Amazing what we can come up with using what is on hand.

Sunday. Bacon, egg, cheese and sausage on English muffins
Monday. Sausages, mashed potato, veggies and gravy
Tuesday. Satay chicken kebabs and fried rice.
Wednesday. Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread.
Thursday. Chicken cordon bleu meatloaf with mashed potato, cauliflower and broccoli
Friday. Bacon and spinach mac and cheese.
Saturday. Ham, cheese and tomato/pineapple toasted sandwiches

So, although I menu-planned las week, I never posted it. And since I didn't come even remotely close to following it, I'll pretend it didn't exist. I must get back on the bandwagon with planning and followng ...

May 20 - 26, 2024
Monday: grilled Italian sausage with peppers and onions, tomato and cucumber salad
Tuesday: tacos
Wednesday: baked mostaccoli, salad
Thursday: grilled chicken, veggie skewers, salad
Friday: pizza, tossed salad
Saturday: burgers on the grill, roasted potato wedges, coleslaw
Sunday: ribs on the grill, baked beans or baked sweet potato, coleslaw

May 27 - June 2, 2024
Monday -- Memorial Day: grilled chicken, veggie skewers, tossed salad
Tuesday: Bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on toast, maccaroni salad
Wednesday: Italian sausage in sauce (crock pot), sauteed green peppers and onions, 4-bean salad
Thursday: grilled salmon, roasted potatoes, coleslaw
Friday: pizza, tossed salad
Saturday: steak from freezer on the grill, baked potato, salad
Sunday: chicken fajitas, Spanish rice

Tuesday~ Dinner out on the last student day of the year! Probably going to try the new location of one of our favorite bistros.
Wednesday~ Hawaiian Grilled Pork Chops and Pilaf
Thursday~ Grilled Ham and Cheese with Oven Fries
Friday~Pizza or Stromboli
Saturday~Roasted Chicken and Pasta Salad
Sunday~Rigatoni and Meat Sauce
