MHH Wrapping Parties- Dates- 2010

A lot of us are into this! Yippee! I have sat down with my 2010 calendar and picked out dates for our wrapping parties.

I know the dates I picked are not going to work for everyone, every time. I picked enough days that if you have to skip one or two, it shouldn't matter.

If a date doesn't work for you- pick a day close to it.

Let's make this a real celebration- wrap with Christmas music on, and end with something yummy to eat and drink and maybe a nice, delicious soak in a bubble bath!

I'm looking forward to rapping and wrapping with you in 2010!

I'll send reminders out, when we are getting close to our parties!

Mark you calendars for the following dates to wrap:


* Sunday, August 1st-Let's wrap up Christmas in July

* Saturday, October 9th-If you haven't started shopping yet, this is a good time to start!

* Saturday, November 6th-We're getting closer!

* Thursday, November 11th-A holiday for some

* Saturday, November 27th- Wrap up those Black Friday deals
Sunday, November 28th

* Saturday, December 11th-We're really getting there, now
Sunday, December 12th

* Saturday, December 18th- Goal complete! Let's enjoy the last week before Christmas!

I love wrapping, save all these great ideas, but because I wait I never have the time for the details. I'm thinking I'm going to make my wrapping paper more accessable and actaully follow this plan. Not sure on the exact days, but it will keep me reminded and give me a perspective of what I want.

Starting in August is perfect. It's around the same time I get tired of summer and start thinking of the holidays.

I think I should add a date in for myself that's earlier than August. I bought gifts after Christmas and think wrapping them now - well, actually in February - makes good sense for me. And, then by August I'll be really ready to join the wrapping party with others.
