Rudolph Movie Club 2011

It seems this is always a fun idea but one we never seem to stay with. I'd like to propose we do this the "old way" we used to do at OC....here's how it works...

I need twelve people to volunteer to host a month.....post in this thread and I'll update the list below. As hostess for the month.....on RUDOLPH DAY of the month you volunteer for you will start a thread announcing the movie for the month (KEEP it a SURPIRSE until your month....watch what others use so you don't pick the same one again)....with a title like: January Rudolph Movie: A Christmas Carol ....Perhaps your opening post can mention the reason you picked the movie or some questions for people to ponder while they watch the movie...or even a brief history or tidbits about the selection....

THEN people watch the movie and post about it anytime BEFORE the next Rudolph Day (when the next person will start a new movie thread)

This thread is now open for volunteers....post which month you'd like to host but no need to tell your movie until it's "your month".

We have two more months that need hostesses.......


It's really pretty simple and a fun way to get involved on a small enough to manage scale here at MHH.

On the 25th of your month.....start a thread with the movies title etc....you can post a little about why you picked it or a favorite part or something to get us in the mood to watch the selection....then people watch the movie sometime BEFORE the next Rudolph Day....and post comments, thoughts about it or just a little recap of the fact that they did manage to watch it etc...

I'm looking froward to it and hope to find time to REALLY participate in this!!!
