I know many of us prepare both a ham and turkey at the holidays. I remembered seeing in passing on a smoked ham label last year that it could be stored at room temperature, but at the time I was in a hurry and thought I may have misread it. I was curious about it, so did some investigating. I came across this while researching about it: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/wps/portal...meat-preparation/ham-and-food-safety/ct_index
As it turns out, some uncut hams can depending upon how they are cured. I'll let you read about the ones you may be interested in because I don't want to confuse anyone or give misleading information.
