I say allow votes to come through this weekend- ending on June 12th-and then we decide.

Looks like we have a front runner.

I wish I could change the thread title- it shows up just like the regular Christmas in July thread.
Is there a way to do this- does anyone know?

I've read ON STRIKE FOR CHRISTMAS (very good, btw) and would read it again. On the other hand, I'm always up for a new book. LOL I know, I'm no help. hee hee

I vote for Snowglobe. Is it like the movie? Maybe that isn't the movie. I am thinking a movie with Snowglobe in the title?~~? Will have to see if my library can order it.

I"ll say this...When On Strike was made into a movie this past year, it was HORRIBLE!!! Super low budget and just bad. I'm into all those cheesie movies at Christams and that one was just hard to watch for some reason. Huge disapointment, considering how the book was awesome and made me laugh outloud. I think Snowglobe was a movie about 3 years ago, but I dont' remember much of it.

Even thought we have new members joing in the book club if On strike was read 2 yrs ago may be we can consider a new on this year. (not that I have read it) so I will go w/ Snowglobe.

Then again I am flexable.

Lana-
There was a movie on ABC Family a couple of Christmas's ago called Snowglobe.

When I 1st heard of this book, I thought it was the same story line but from reading what the book is about, it is different.

I will just have to read whatever I can borrow from my library. I have looked for On strike for Christmas and Snowglobe and my library does not have them. I may just have to read something else

Missed getting to vote, but I like Snowglobe. I'll have to see if my library has it.

I just put Snowglobe on hold at the library.I am #3 but the library system has about 15 copies so I shouldn't be waiting long.Looking forward to reading it!

I told myself I couldn't get this book until I get rid of 10 magazines.

I'm so anxious for my book I've already gotten rid of 6 mags!
