What do you put in an Advent calendar?

I bought an advent calendar this year. It was the big one at Costco shaped like a house with little doors. Now I have no idea what to hide in those doors! What do you all put in yours?

We don't do Advent but in school they always had calendars similar to that and there was always a small piece of candy or chocolate in the doors.

I mainly put small Christmas chocolates in the ones I do for my children, but I do also add in some extra gifts such as key rings, phone charm, bag charm, small pieces of jewellery lip balm -anything I can find that is small enough to fit in the pockets really.

I am putting a slip of paper with an activity to do (sing Jingle bells, give Mommy eskimo kiss, make Christmas list, etc) after she does activity she will gift a small wrapped gift.
