Happy Saturday!

What are your plans for dinner tonight?

We're having pizza and salad tonight, along with a movie. I'm in the mood for A Christmas Story.

Blessings,
Lisa

Greetings all,

Since we will be out-and-about most of the day, a light supper is on the menu:

*Clam chowder w/ Pilot crackers
*Corned beef & cheddar sandwiches
*Baked apples
*Hot mulled cider

It is a stormy Saturday here in Boston; hope all of you are warm & dry.

We'll be going to MIL's so no cooking for tonight (even though I'm preparing a big batch of spaghetti sauce to put in jars).

We had pork shoulder blade chops slow roasted in my cast iron Dutch Oven.

I mixed a can of cream of chicken with 1/3rd block of cream cheese and some spices (onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, dill and chives).

Threw that on top of the raw meat and slow cooked it until done.

Made mashed potatoes to serve it over (I was bad and added some cream cheese and sour cream and butter to the potatoes as I mashed them! :) YUM!)

Simple, but good. Should have opened a can of green beans, but I forgot until we were sitting down to eat and I was SO not getting up again! LOL
