What's Cooking, Wednesday, July 7th?

Good morning!

It's looking like another hot one is headed our way . Tonight will be a simple dinner of BBQ Bacon Hot Dogs (recipe link on my blog) and homemade fries. Watermelon will be for dessert. YUM!

I think I'm going to do pasta, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese with fresh basil. Little cooking=cooler house.

The kids and I stopped at the farmers' market this morning. It's not close to us, about a 40 minute drive, but it was worth it, I got some great produce!

I have been looking forward to tonight's dinner all summer! Roasted sweet corn, green beans (with butter) and sliced tomatoes (with salt). YUM! Oh, and a cantalope melon that is so perfectly ripe that I could smell it's sweetness in the car all the way home.....
